Routt County Woolens is a producer of premium quality wool products. Located in Colorado’s high country, the wool is produced from locally owned and nourished sheep in Routt County. RCW wanted to focus on the “local” aspect of the product. We decided to add a bit of humor to the meaning local. Adding a cowboy hat to the talking lamb made Wooley the face for all “local” sheep. Wooley appeared on direct mail, postcard and ad.
